Our anniversary...

Yep My hubby and I have been married nor for 14 years....well it was actually a couple of days ago but as you might have noticed I am running a bit slow on posting this month...I have the next few covered though so...Yippie for me!! more birthday cards!!

This is one I made for my nephew for his 10th birthday!! I thanks all the people who have made one close to this on SCS.....Thanks for the inspiration!! I think he liked it...I was looking back at the picks of him opening his presents and I just we have trained him well because he not only holds up the card for the pic he now opens it to be sure we have the inside pic as well!!! Nice to know we can train them for the good of the blog!! Thanks for looking!!

sweet pea...

OOOHHHH I had so much fun making this card....I did case it from SCS so thanks to all of you that made something close to this before me.... I did make this for my sister in law for her birthday.... I think she liked it!! I did have help with the flowers...yes my girls are as talented as they can be and are helping out more and more...maybe they will takeover for me when I get old and am ready to retire!!! Ya right...that will never happen! These buds were made by Ashleigh! Thanks to her it turned out to be a fun card!!!

our parents

So today my parents have been married for 40 years....holy moly ...I don't think many people can say that they want to be just like their parents but I do. They not only were super parents but they have shown me how they are a great couple. I think that is what the secret is...you have to take care of each other and trust that the rest will follow ....I hope I will have the same effect on my girls and their relationships as my parents have had and still have on mine. I want to shop

I want to go shopping....NOW ...you know when you just have to buy something?? I think I want some paper...weird right...but I always get inspired to make thing when I find some cool papers...and really it is the better of the 2 evils...the other would be clothing...yep way nicer of a bill for my dear husband.!! See this is me and all my goodies I bought from the craft store! I look happy right!

Have you noticed the totally awesome papers the last ouple of days??? OH YA I got them and I can't get enough of them....I have almost used up my stash so I will have to go to the store..."sigh"...it is a tough life....but someone has to do it...Heres an update on the family....My girlsare still competing in dance but thankfully classes are over....( we have a bit of time for ourselves) they are of course still in school ( this is the hardest month ). Michelle came back a few days ago ...thankfully .. I hate it when she is gone...However the family is a beautiful golden brown and they keep standing near us whiteys and that is so sad ....Kathy is home today! Again Michelle and I are just not the same without her around....ya we are mamas girls....we will see her tonight and after more than 2 weeks there I just know she will want to sit by me...oh ya she will have a great tan!!! Thats it for now!!! Have a great CANADA DAY!!!

shhh don't tell...

Ok so Kathy phoned me and wanted cards...I told her over and over again I didn't have them...did I say over and over again...just so we are clear I said I didn't have them and she was going nutso! got it....Ok so here is one of those cards which I just took a pic of ...how you ask?? Yep it is at my house just where she told me it was...ya sooooo OPPS!! Sorry Mommy! But I am so glad I have them cause now I can share them! Now lets see if she reads this cause I am not going to tell her!!! Hee Hee!!!

Now on to the card...are you kidding me ...how super fantastic is it?? Kathy got this stamp on one of her trips to the USA....Oh ya....B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! just when it can't get cuter...she adds glitter! That is my Mom!!

My hubby and brother in law have a thing about cars...mostly hot wheels...to say they collect them might be an understatement. My hubby has a tiny room for them....oh ya its that bad! so of course you would think I have a ton of car stamps...Michelle has a few really cool ones ( look back at the posts you know you want too) but I just got my first one a few weeks ago...here is my first card with it! The Camaro is truly his fave car....we know what is going to be on his birthday card...don't we!!

he's a dude..

This guy is a dude....I would like to give him a fun background...maybe he is just coming home from school and he is off to hung out with his skateboarder friends! He looks like a boarder right?? Oh well he will be cute for any of the boys in you life!

I have no words! Not on the card...but if you were in my head...watchout! I have been thinking lately that sometimes the less you say the bigger your voice...silence can be the best way to go! I made this card thinking that exact thing...maybe she has nothing to say and that says volumes!! Thanks for looking we are back from out 4 day vacation and we had a great time! another Mothers Day...

This card I made for my sister in law to give to Kathy.... Cute huh? I think that was the first time I have used this background and I am so glad I bought it! : ( it is not as beautiful as we hoped upi here in Whistler but...it is still a nice little holiday!

sometimes we forget..

Yep...sometimes we forget to be nice to the people around us....You just assume that they will be there...so you can treat them any way you want to...Nope that is not the way it goes! So remember to use your manners and hey saying "pretty please with a cherry" on top doesn't hurt either...Right? If you can't say it at least send them this card!!

Blow up...

Could this blow fish be any cuter? I know, I know... I say that everyday but this little guy was a cheap $1.29 stamp and he has to be up there with my faves!!! I had the background paper a while ago and wished I had bought more at the time... how many times has that happened right? Well I found it again!!! So excited!!! I have to thank the paper gods! I also found some cool things in the bridal section that I am hoping will be fun to use on my cards! Kathy got the cutest BBQ guy when she was in Seattle...wait till you see him!! Thanks for looking!

Oh my... I feel like having a doughnut...This little guy is a cutie! I think he is sweet! I am getting a huge amount of cards done! I have also been working on my purses...check them out here . I have to say they are starting to move like hotcakes!! I got a shimmer spray and have coated over the little doughnut..I think he needed to shine! Thanks for looking!

Sad news..

My Father in Law's brother passed away...I had only met him once....it was enough to make me sad. He was a very nice man and he has a wonderfully caring wife. They both made a huge impression on me and my girls and He will be missed. I know the rest of the family is sad as well. Harder that they live in Montreal and none of us will be there to say our goodbyes. We will miss you Bucky...

I don't know what I would do..

I almost ran out of $$ on my Starbucks card...OMG! I know what you are thinking...what would she do??? I had that thought myself.... It might have been the end of me..Yes it would have.. Sometimes walking from the dance studio to the corner Starbucks and getting a tea..a very large tea... is the only thing that keeps me sane! All I can say is I love it a latte!! I have since had it refilled and all is fine... and yes I am off to get that tea right now!

Glad we are Friends

I am so glad that all the kids in our family are so close and see each other so much! I know that lots of families don't have that and I am grateful...I have to thank our mom and Dad for that they have always told us how important it is to keep everyone close. Glad we are all friends!
