watch this...

I was looking to make a watch card for our anniversary... I thought it was our 15th... so I did a watch ( the modern gift) and on the face I used Crystal Effects ( crystal is the traditional gift) Sooo perfect right!! I was so proud of myself... until the morning of our Anniversary when I opened the card my hubby bought me and it said Happy 16th Anniversary!! OMG!! Well it still is a great card... I love dad time..spending time with dad is so important to my girls...well it really is good for all of us..Of course they get away with murder most of the time... My girls do have their dad wrapped around thier baby fingers...but I think he wouldn't have it any other way!! Spending time with dad usually gets them ice cream as well!

gone fishing

My dad goes fishing...that is not a new flash for all of you who keep up with us...but in the last few weeks he has gone away with his buddies a few times. The first trip they went and he caught a few fish ( they catch and release ) BUT guys in the boats all around him were catching lots of them...He wasn't very happy about that.....well the last trip he made up for it...oh ya he caught 48...I think that was it ..Over 40 anyway!! So I thought I would post this for him and his great fishing!!

I think that Michelle boys will do this...yep go to the park one day with their daddy and instead for bringing her flowers ( you know the little daisys that you make necklaces with) they will bring her frogs..they do have one of those tiny creeks by their house!! Ha ha my sis is not a bug and frog girl...but she can build a train track and play G I Joes like nobodys business!!!! Thanks for this card Kathy!!! totally cute...look at his toes....

No... not the song the stamp!! I would want to be this dude..He is too cool! This guy can really be used for a huge age range ...My 9 year old nephew I think would dig this guy but I think you could go right to the older teens with him! Thanks for this card Michelle! I scooped up some goodies when I went shopping yesterday...I got some charms to use on my cards..I can't wait to use them!! I got more buttons...I really don't NEED them but I really wanted them and I think that is what matters! I did get some gemmed ( not a real word) brads as well... that I really did NEED!! Yes I did and I will justify them if I need to...I know you know what I mean! Have a super cool day!!

My girls.....

Here are the cards my girls made!! Super cute huh??? Mine is tucked in there as well..I used the Edwin with a balloon and in its place I put a bat! My dad doesn't usually carry around balloons but has been known to swing a bat around...( yes only when he is playing baseball).....I love that background paper it is so manly!! You know me... man stuff ... is hard for me!! I did have to make the bat a bit longer so I pieced 2 together and I think it worked out ok...The bat and the cap are from Whipper Snapper..so cute.....Thats it for my Dear old Dad...I Have Ashleigh's birthday card coming up tom...well the invite to her Birthday!!!
