Pretty in pink...

My big girl is turning 12 at the end of this next week. She has decided to have a smaller birthday this year for her friends..last year we have 16 girls...this year we have managed to cut it down to 6...not bad right?? We are going out to dinner then back for a sleepover...movies and popcorn...sounds like it will be fun!! Her friends are all very nice girls so it will be fun having them over....This is her invite to give to them....

This is the card Michelle made for her big boy! I can't believe that he is going to be three! Now if you hadn't guessed she is having a pirate party! All our kids decided to go out on Halloween as pirates so we will be dressing up for his birthday as well...so, so, so fun! I can't wait to show you all the cake etc Michelle has planned!! She is amazing at getting everything just right for that special day! I wish I was half as good...but I guess it is good because I just put her in charge when I need to!! Enjoy your day!!

One more month

Well I might regret saying this but I can't wait for my girls to be out of school...they are off for the whole month of Dec... Yippie....I am tired of school and I don't even have to go!! I promised a sneek peek of Michelle's invite to her son's 3rd birthday!! well here you go...I will post it on tomorrows post..It is worth the wait ...trust me!

Kathy made this card for her sister...her friend was moving to a new home and this is just a perfect card for her to give!! I love this house ...October Afternoon is the company and it is a really great set! Kathy has paper pieced it and I love the background paper it reminds me of a brocade fabric or even maybe a wallpaper (you know the kind that would be in the bathroom at your parents house when you grew up)....ya thats the one!! No I am kidding I really do love it! Thanks and have a great day....OOOHHH I have a few new stamps coming...I am hoping they arrive tomorrow!! I am ssssoooo excited!!

So you have to hold on tight ...I have some super exciting news ...well exciting for Kathy, Michelle and I....We were asked to make some wedding cards...ya that is so that is cool..too cool BUT ..The super exciting part is the Bride and Groom live in AUSTRIA....ya that is right! Soooo on the other side of the world!!! Too exciting for us and I am going to insert a comment from the Brides sis ...after we gave her the cards....Here we go!!!.......

Once again I would like to say thank you for the amazing job you did on both the invitations and thank you cards. My sister will be so relieved to have such an important part of her wedding turn out to be the most unique and beautiful experience for her and her guests. You need to charge more as I feel like I was stealing from you! I have spoken to her and she says to add anything you like to your blog- she hasn’t seen them yet-her email is a work address and she is not there- but she put her trust in you and she trusts my opinion. She works for Tommy Hilfiger and is a design specialist so choosing your cards was very special-she thanks you from the bottom of her heart!

A birthday boy..

My nephew turned 9 this year...I tried to age him..I thought it was 10!! OPPS!! Oh well maybe that means I am getting old right?? Well that might be true because I forgot to take a pic of my card. Oh well! I still have 2 terrific cards to show you...Kathy's is "Edward" Greeting farm....OOOHHH YA love it!!! Who wouldn't?? Is is so cool...kinda like the birthday boy!! Love the DP as well! Michelle's card is like taking a picture of Him as well...He is into all those sports...the only thing she could have possibly have added would be a video game!!! Do they have a set like that?? Think the pic frame idea is super cute!!

This is another bella stamp Kathy got...I can't remember the name of it but really who needs a name just look at it!! SSSSOOOO good!! The colors are fab the coloring is super and I would love to give this to a couple expecting..wouldn't you?? Yeah for the Bella Stamps!! Great choice Kathy!

Birthday day cards...

So I told you it was my brother and my birthday- that sounds weird??!! Anyway I have the pics...well all but one :( I will post my brothers cards first...that is a nice as it gets!!! I made him the man floating on the tube!!!! Michelle's is the race car and Michelle made the golfer for my brothers wife to give him! So you might have guessed I am missing Kathy's card...not sure how I did it but I didn't get a pic of it!!! I will post it as soon as I get it!! But for now enjoy!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Grad...

This month is Grad Month here in Vancouver! Even though we are far from that in our Family I thought I should make a couple of cards ....OK... OK.... you know I also got cute new stamps that I had to make that looked good as a Grad card!! Hee Hee I just had to! What do you think?? I did paper piece the blue bodice of her dress...

Kathy's birthday thank you card

Wow ...Kathy send these cards out to thank everyone who came to her party...We did have a great time and it was so nice to see the family and Friends..Kathy what a nice way to not only remind everyone of a great night but to thank them for celebrating with you and your family....It is hard to get all the dimensions by looking at the pic but look close the vellum has been embossed and cut out for shape.  The rose is in a sparkly paper as well as being embossed in white...so wonderful....Ps.... Thank you Kathy for keeping with our color theme!!!

very fishy

My my I have been busy...we all have....Michelle has been working on fathers day cards like a mad woman and has taken to running daily ( yes in this heat)...Kathy is in New york....yes she is away again....and yes we are bitter.....yes we are having my Dad over for dinner a lot while she is away!!! I just finished with the girls dance recital...I am sooooo PROUD of both of them!!! They worked hard and loved every minute! We loved it as well! and with all that I have made some really cute cards...or so I think! This is for my Dad for Fathers day. He is a fisherman and hunter but I wanted it to be a bit whimsical and fun for him. I did a gel card I saw the tech on SCS....I think it is going to be a hit! What do you think ...have you tried to do this..I didn't have all the required materials so I used a clear envelope to hold the gel. It has held up just great!

Evan's birthday...

we made the invites for our nephews birthday for his buddies...We got the idea from SCS and it seems so perfect because he is having a pet store come to his house and show the kids ( 4 & 5 year olds) all sorts of bugs and animals.....I will be far far away cause I am creeped out just thinking about it...That is why I have girls and we have " glam " parties!!! However, I know it will be fun for all and it starts as soon as they get those invites....see I told you I have great things to show you!!! Yes.... there is more coming tomorrow!!
