Bellas petals....

Oh Kathy and her copics are at it again! It just makes all the difference in our cards...and I can't remember if I told you but....WE GOT COPICS TOO!!! Yep Michelle and I are doing well with the COPICS...We got a set of the Ciaos ....72 of them thank you very much!!! OOOHHH yes we love our hubbies who saw how terribly sad we were and well I guess we pouted enough.....I have been playing alot...did you notice on my Anya Xmas card?? Yep Copics!!! I don't know how I have been making cards so long with out them...My next project is to work on the next set for my Christmas present!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Her boys are getting so big and Ryan is just talking up a storm...yep he tells you exactly what he likes and doesn't....It is such a nice age....I miss my girls being so small!!

MMMMM Kathy has gotten so good at the copics...she is awesome! So is this little girl. We are deciding what the kids should wear for Halloween..I know it is early but if I have to make them I need the time..I think we are going to be pirates ..Michelle's boys are going as the boy pirates and of course my girls will be the sirens...

COPIC MARKERS.....

So I have been thinking copic for a while ...you know watching the u tube videos... watching tutorials ...looking at all the blogs....and kinda wanting to take the leap and get them...Michelle is with me all the way. So we watched a video about a week ago with Kathy to show her what we were looking into...and what does she do...No not wish and want and wait for X-mas with Michelle and I ...like a good mom would. OH NO she goes out randomly and buys 12 of them...then a few days later she buys 12 more and just to top off this week...I took her to the store yesterday and she got 13 more....how many do Michelle and I have...ZERO! So sad. It is even more sad that we don't look good being green.... :( She has been practicing and has gotten pretty good....What do you think??

So you have to hold on tight ...I have some super exciting news ...well exciting for Kathy, Michelle and I....We were asked to make some wedding cards...ya that is so that is cool..too cool BUT ..The super exciting part is the Bride and Groom live in AUSTRIA....ya that is right! Soooo on the other side of the world!!! Too exciting for us and I am going to insert a comment from the Brides sis ...after we gave her the cards....Here we go!!!.......

My sister will be so relieved to have such an important part of her wedding turn out to be the most unique and beautiful experience for her and her guests. You need to charge more as I feel like I was stealing from you! I have spoken to her and she says to add anything you like to your blog- she hasn’t seen them yet-her email is a work address and she is not there- but she put her trust in you and she trusts my opinion. She works for Tommy Hilfiger and is a design specialist so choosing your cards was very special-she thanks you from the bottom of her heart!

Kathy made this one for my sis in laws coworker...They had a morning wedding and the reception was a luncheon...such a good idea...The more i think about it the more I like the thought of earlier wedding...my only thing would be..how early would you have to get up to do hair and make-up?? Ya I think that took hours for my wedding and I know Michelle's took that long as well....Oh well I am not doing it again....too much work!! HeeHee!! Have a great day!!!

Whoot Whoo

This little guy is a cutie!! Totally sweet just sitting there on his branch! I am shocked that I have said.....2 more days till SCHOOL!!! OH YA!!! Not that I am totally ready for them to be back....Ha ha!!! So a bit of an update for you...Lets see...schools almost back ( oh I said that didn't I?) so that means that our dance season starts as well...My girls are taking 10 classes each...YES.. I said 10! So that will keep my family busy. Kathy and Michelle have planned another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth for there familys...no not the craft store...Disneyland.....the little boys are totally excited...Hmmm that seems like it for now!! It was Michelle's mother in law's birthday.....that was a mouthful!! This is the pretty card Michelle made for her...I need to emboss more...because it looks so nice on this card.

A birthday boy..

My nephew turned 9 this year...I tried to age him..I thought it was 10!! OPPS!! Oh well maybe that means I am getting old right?? Well that might be true because I forgot to take a pic of my card. Oh well! I still have 2 terrific cards to show you...Kathy's is "Edward" Greeting farm....OOOHHH YA love it!!! Who wouldn't?? Is is so cool...kinda like the birthday boy!! Love the DP as well! Michelle's card is like taking a picture of Him as well...He is into all those sports...the only thing she could have possibly have added would be a video game!!! Do they have a set like that?? Think the pic frame idea is super cute!!

Last but I think the Neatest!

This is the lasy project we did for our club night....we stamped with VMark on these glass candle holders and then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder...then we used etching cream to cover the rest...we all left a band at the top just in case we wanted to add ribbons etc. VIOLA!! we all have BEAUTIFUL etched glass containers!! This one has my buttons in it then I had a tealight to show you the images....WOW I don't think I ever would have tried doing it myself...thank you Kathy so much for expanding our stamping experience!!! That was a cool club night! P.S. I have to tell you Kathy did make kid versions of all the cards/etchings we did....thank you for knowing my girls would be right in there wanting to do it all!!!

Ok so this we had seen but never tried...I think we all wanted to but think it might be too hard or to much work...and it is alot of water coloring and even a bit of masking..but I will do this again as soon as possible! I thought it was great and had a blast trying it out!!! Way to go Kathy!!! And you were worried that you wouldn't WOW us!!! PS those elves are too cute and I think you will see alot more of those cuties when we start our Christmas cards!!! the order will be Kathy, Michelle then mine!! Have a icy day!!
