sister in law...

I have a another bits card.. this one is for my sister in law's birthday... I am really loving mixing and matching all these different papers... I love this Berry girl!! And of course I had to add a bit of sparkle!! Thanks for looking.. off to a BBQ I wish it was sunny!

ok... here are the bits!!

So I use 12x12 designer papers and the way I do my cards for the most part.. I get 6 cards out of every 12 x12 sheet... in the end if I have done my job I am stuck with 3 pieces of 1 1/2 x 4 bits of paper... I know it would be smart ...especially if you saw my scrap collection to just get rid of these. NOPE not me I have to save them cause one day I will use them..(Hoarder)

( I have started taking Kathy's as well ...I have a problem) ANYWAY... here is a pic of a few of said pieces....

bits and ...well bits!

So in a weird round about way I fine myself making a card for my Uncle.. It is not that so much making the card as trying to figure out what besides golf my uncle likes... He is turning 70 and I found it really hard to make his card. I love him very much but... don't really know him at all... I know things about him and but nothing that can be related to card form... does that make sense? Well.. it is the first time I have made him a card... and really I think the first time I have been to his birthday to be truthful... So Golf it is... I have to say Kathy and Michelle will have golf cards as well... I guess we are all in the same boat... Goal for the weekend is to find out just one other thing my Uncle likes !!! hearts and cross bones!

It is hard to be scared of this skull and crossbones when he has hearts in his eyes!! I am trying my hardest to make more " boy" cards!! I think it is the coolest background paper ever! We are officially on summer holidays... My girls got out at 11am today! can't wait for the sun to shine so we can get out and have some fun! Thanks for looking .... Have a great night!

A personal post

My eldest daughter is graduating from grade 7... yep we do that! I just am feeling a bit like the day I sent her off to school for the first time... excited and a bit scared for what is to come next for her. This is how I see her... even today when she is 13.... Thanks for letting me share...
