The new girl...

I told you about my new Anya girls I got ...WELL.....Isn't she cute!!! I made this for my sis in law for her birthday! It was fun to make a 5x5 card. Babies!

Oh my babies are everywhere. Do you remember when you bought your first car and then all you saw was cars like yours?? Or when you were preggers and everyone and I mean everyone is having a baby too! Well thankfully I am not but that is all I see....and in this weather...yikes!!! A woman at work had her baby 5 weeks early! It is a good thing I had her shifts covered!!! Here is a baby card Michelle made...Aren't the colors great??

jumbled in colors

I told you michelle was warming up to the in colors...Here are a few she has done...I should use these jumbled sayings I really like them...I do like the combos Michelle has picked for these..she likes them she really likes them!!!

it is hot!

It is hot outside and if I was a little girl I would want to were this outfit!!! I love these Anya girls and I have a whole bunch to show you!! We got these yesterday and I am sooo inspired! I just love them ....Michelle got some of the Ian stamps and I think Kathy got Edward....Oh ya I do want more already!!!

it is all about color right...

Michelle and I must be in sync! Well close to it anyway! This is the card she made a few days ago and while I was taking the pic of it I saw my Glads in the background....the rose red in the card looks so much like the color of my flowers it made my day and I wish I could keep the card! Thought I would share that with you!! Thanks for looking! Have a great day...go buy some glads!

Run little guy run!

Don't ya just love him! It reminds me of my nephews...ya all of them ...crazy right but at one time in there lives they were runners! We were lucky to catch them! Once they learned to walk they seemed to take off running! Fun right?! I know most of you know what I mean! Do you have a runner? Thanks for looking!

Second Color Challenge...oh ya baby...it is a hard one!

Here is Kathy's card. I saved it because this is the paper that inspired our 2nd color challenge. Kathy has picked this challenge and there was a twist...Here is what Kathy sent us...Hello girls! This is my colour challenge!! I love these colours and I think they are an unusual combination. Old Olive, More Mustard, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Regal Rose, and of course Rich Razzleberry!!

Now here is an extra challenge for you but only if you are up to it, because it is not for the faint of heart. This combination is to be made into a Christmas Card! Yes you heard right, Christmassssss. If you like you can throw in some glitter, I'm just saying. Again I think the challenge will be more fun if you don't talk amoungst yourselves!!! Have fun with this challenge and we shall see what exciting things you come up with.

So of course Michelle and I were so excited ....and scared! So If you want to join us in this challenge send your cards to my email by AUG 19th 2009..I know that is lots of time but I will send our reminders...now the first is the paper the colors were taken from ...then Kathy just had to make this cute card out of it!

I love this card..I think you will as well!! How STINKIN CUTE! This must be one of michelles old sets she brought out becase I don't stink I have seen it before...either that or I am getting old and my memory is going! Do you remember this one?? Ohhhh remember this bear?? I had totally forgotten about him...or...her in these cards. Michelle made these 2 ... super cards and of course great colors. I have to tell you Michelle is kinda like me and is poo pooing the new colors...That was yesterday...today she is kinda liking them so it must be a sister thing! Can't wait to see her new in color cards!

fresh cuts in color

I am thinking very fall for this set of in colors..well at least the CC DD and SS...What do you think.... I crimped the paper to give some texture ...I like it....still growing on me....I think I will keep going and I might "love" them....

the first card in color

ok so I had my doubts about the in colors...I do like change...but I just wasn't sure....I have made a couple of cards with the in colors and I might, just might be warming up to them.....I will have a few more coming for you!!!

Purpleish trees...

This was another paper I got a few days ago.. just tress but I thought they were so fun! What do you think?? I when to the eye doc with my 10 year old and she asked for contacts...her glasses are pretty thick and all she wants to do is wear fun sun glasses like everyone else!! So guess what we are getting....yep I am a sucker for my girls...If it makes them feel better about themselves I will do it...I want them to be confident, smart and kind.....so if contacts help with one of those...so be it....

1st Color Challenge results!!!

Here are our Color Challenge Cards! We had a blast doing them and we kept them to ourselves till our club night! We were so shocked how differently they all turned out!! Kathy's is the jungle card, Michelle made the thanks card and I made the get well soon card!! Crazy different right!! Sorry the colors look a bit off on these pics but I hope you get the idea!! We will be having another challenge soon so keep watching....
