Mother in law..,.

This is for my mother in law...I wanted to use really bright papers and make it fun for her. I just love these colors together and this little girl just cinches it!I think she is my total fave Bella stamp ever...We are off to another party today ....yes now I will post all the super cards we have made for this little one year olds birthday and Michelle's birthday!! Great paper

I do love a great paper...you know one that holds it's own on a card...This is one of those papers! I will post a card tomorrow as well that is just perfect the way it is as well!! TGIF....We had my sister in laws dad's funeral this morning. It is hard to go to a funeral of someone that you never met before I always feel like I am invading or awkward...But it is worth it if my sis in law feels the support she needs. Sigh....makes you think though...about how happy you are to have the ones you love around...Thanks for looking!

Quick and bright...

Love'n this set...oh ya it is quick and such a bright card! I needed a few quick cards last week and I wanted them to be bright and cheerful! I think it worked out well...I have a few busy days coming up and I can't wait to share the cards...but I have to wait ...ya Michelle's birthday and a cousins first birthday...yes he is only one and I know he won't be looking but some of the family might so ....we wait!! I am off on an adventure with the girls and I am on a mission to get Valentines Day STUFF! I know it is a bit early but I have to strike while the iron is hot! And I hope hot is what it will be! Ok I would settle for warm at this point! We are having a really cloudy morning and it was one of those "I don't want to get out of bed" mornings for my whole family....Hope you are having a brighter start and have a bit of aget up and go.....kinda day!! It was my Mother in law and Father in laws birthdays....here is his card... no it is not a crazy card and it is not a wonderfully embellished card but it is him to a tee....yes ...I totally meant to say that!!! Ok.... I admit that it is late when I am writing this and I am punchy!!! But what a good card for an old guy! I seem to have music on my mind I have been making Music related cards ...I know weird right?? Well here is my Edwin from Magnolia...Doesn't he look relaxed...just hanging out strummin on the guitar....I will be listening to Music tonight but it will be at my girls dance studio and I think on Mondays they have all studios running....It is well worth it...they just love Dancing...and my hubby and I couldn't be more proud of them when they get up there and perform...this year they have 3 dances together....that makes me smile just thinking about it...Thanks for looking and have a super day!!

I have another birthday card made by Michelle for my daughter... Isn't this Magnolia girl totally sweet? Michelle used her beloved Chatterbox paper...I mean it you know Michelle is a hoarder with her paper..and she has now broken it out and is "reluctantly" ready to use them for all the special people in her life! This is my new tea cup from Magnolia..I love it...however I need a sideways sitting girl/boy for it cause the straight on look hides the cup! Help! This works though don't ya think? I got buttons!

So... I am a bit of a button collector...I have a only a few containers of buttons...my fave place to get them is the dollar store...I do like the more expensive ones but finding the packs of pink , purple or even yellow buttons that are a buck and a bit is sooo much fun...!!! Don't judge me!!! Ha Ha! Here is the Thank you I made with buttons! Fun and super easy!

I was thinking a bit French last night! I just love this paper..and that was the last of the 1 sheet I had...so sad right. I am off to the store to get inspired...ok and maybe to buy some more papers! I have a birthday card for a 1 year old boy ( cousin ) well we all will be making one for him so I will post them all...We have my sisters birthday coming up...yes Michelle's so they have to be totally wonderful! So many cards so much fun making them!

I can't wait till that Easter Bunny comes! It is one of those cool Holidays that is fun for the kids and the parents! We decorate the eggs and get the treats for the kids...the Dads hide it all and the hunt is on!! I have such great memories of Easter growing up...I had fun with this card. If summer means I can have this cone and look as adorable as this little girl! Bring it on! Along with some cute background paper and you have a Sweet Card from Michelle! I do have to say that I would prefer butterscotch ice cream to chocolate but hey when push comes to shove I wouldn't say no to any kind of ice cream.

No... not the song the stamp!! I would want to be this dude..He is too cool! This guy can really be used for a huge age range ...My 9 year old nephew I think would dig this guy but I think you could go right to the older teens with him! Thanks for this card Michelle! I scooped up some goodies when I went shopping yesterday...I got some charms to use on my cards..I can't wait to use them!! I got more buttons...I really don't NEED them but I really wanted them and I think that is what matters! I did get some gemmed ( not a real word) brads as well... that I really did NEED!! Who wouldn't love this cutie!! This is one of Kathy's newest!! Oh ya... he has got the sweetest friends with him! He actually reminds me of our little dog... Kathy's boys!!

With 4 grandchildren who are boys Kathy chose these stamps the last time we ordered and I think these would be perfect for any of them!! I do love the simplicity of this first card. Finally I got it! Sunday Specials...

I have been struggling with a card for my 12 year old daughter...I got it....finally! I needed to make it fun and girly but at the same time a bit older than what I have done for her before! I used a lot of different techniques and textures I think it will be worth the wait for my "big girl". We are going to start showing some more detailed cards...Maybe a bit fancier and using a few new and old techniques. I will also try to include the copic colors, glitter, punches etc...that were used on the card. I will post these cards on Sundays...the rest of the week for now will be our regular but totally wonderful, spectacular, gorgeous and total fabulous cards!! This little girls is like my girls...

They can do the splits! My girls are right back into dance and as sore as they are this week the first thing they said was...I can still do the splits! Funny right..I think my body would have gone into shock...I have gone back to the gym as well and I am sooo sore... and I can't now or ever have been able to do the splits!!! It is not a goal but getting my butt to the yoga place is...I do have to work my way into it...It would be nice if I had a friend to do it with...but alas Michelle goes to a different gym and I watch the boys when she goes a couple days a week and I wouldn't miss that for a yoga class!!

I am obsessed..

with apples... or maybe the girl holding on to them..I can't get enough... My youngest daughter wanted me not to use pink and she said bright...so this is it!!! I have till tom to make the birthday card for my eldest and still don't know what to do...I have tonight to get it together....Keep your fingers crossed for me..please!!! my mother in law...

Every time I make a "shoe" card I think about my Mother in Law...She loves shoes....I think she has a billion pair...you might think I am kidding...but no! Pretty in pink...

My big girl is turning 12 at the end of this next week. She has decided to have a smaller birthday this year for her friends..last year we have 16 girls...this year we have managed to cut it down to 6...not bad right?? We are going out to dinner then back for a sleepover...movies and popcorn...sounds like it will be fun!! Her friends are all very nice girls so it will be fun having them over....This is her invite to give to them....

Here are the cards my girls made!! Super cute huh??? Mine is tucked in there as well..I used the Edwin with a balloon and in its place I put a bat! My dad doesn't usually carry around balloons but has been known to swing a bat around...( yes only when he is playing baseball).....I love that background paper it is so manly!! You know me... man stuff ... is hard for me!! I did have to make the bat a bit longer so I pieced 2 together and I think it worked out ok...The bat and the cap are from Whipper Snapper..so cute.....Thats it for my Dear old Dad...I Have Ashleigh's birthday card coming up tom...well the invite to her Birthday!!! a little fisherman!

How totally adorable is this little guy! This is the card Michelle made for our Dad....He kinda looks like this with all his fishing gear on...Hee Hee...As usual Michelle adds in the little details to make this card extra special. The brads in the corners to the versamark fishies in the background paper....I hope you can see the bits of glitter pen around this fisherman!
