Kathy's Christmas frenzy!!

oh when my Mom is on a mission so goes for it!!! Just so you are all up to date...Kathy has sold her house ( a couple of days ago) and has bought a house ( a couple of days ago) and is moving out of her house in less than a month...Yep on Dec 20-21 ... and then ( go back a month or so in the blog to catch up with this..) we are going to Disneyland!!! So with all of that happening of course she has her priorities and is working on her Christmas cards!!! So over the next few days I will be posting them for all to see!!! They are so well done ...and they have a bit of everything on them so look hard...she had done some great water- marking on them.....

Another sister!!!

Yes my Mom has 3 sisters but only 2 with birthdays this winter! Here is her first slider card that she did on her own....Yes she was at the class but that was a while ago!! I am proud!!! I know Michelle is.....Her sis will love this!!

Beautiful card for a sister..

Kathy has been making some really pretty cards and this is one of her finest!!! I think I say that a lot about her cards but I think she is so great!!! I know everyone she gives them to thinks so as well!! This one is for one of her sisters.....

Little girls in dresses..

I was on a roll with punches...I think they make great cards!! I tried to do a little skirt on the burgundy one but not sure if I like it much!! The pink one is sooo Hawaii ...and I want to go back :(     Wishful thinking right now....maybe 2010...That seems so far away.....

I saw these awhile ago.... and if you can think back ...Kathy did a beautiful mer-girl for Hailey in June for her birthday. Thought I would try to make some....They turned out pretty cute!!

These are a mix of DP and Christmas cards..I love these seed packs and I of course love my snowmen...Mix them and WOW great cards...These are a bit Country .....I will post 2 more tomorrow same style!

Off of cards... on to Quilting...for today

Thought that I would update everyone on the quilt I am making for Hailey..my youngest.....here is the another square I made..one of my faves!! It is a very slow way to quilt..those "quilting" Hawaiians are way faster than me!!

I bought this for my daughters 11th b day in Jan ..I am just getting a feel for it...I have a great idea for her card!!! But for now.....

Baby shower

I am off to my girlfriends baby shower....it got me to thinking about all the babies in our family and how lucky we are to have what we have...I think we are so lucky that they are so healthy, happy and nice and that is the best we can ask for. We have had our trials and I think that makes me that much more thankful for what we have and I think I will give them all an extra squeeze today...Here is my card for her.

Teachers gifts

It is that time again...yep thinking about Christmas and with that comes Teachers gifts! I have no idea how this  got to be so big for us but between dance for the girls and school we have 12 gifts to make so this year we are doing a bag of goodies...we have 6 assorted x-mas scent "Partylite" tealights and a 6 pack of gift cards.....I did shred my own paper for the gift bags and they smell so good!! Here is what the cards look like..I think they are cute ...I decided to use a blank 3x3 card so it will be handy for any occasion.

Last of Nathan's cards!

I saved this card for last..I have to say Michelle did a great job on this card....It is a spinner card that flies down the 2...She used the hippo that she had on the invite to keep the theme...Love it!!

This is my card I made for Nathan....I just love this little guy....Yeah I love the card as well!!! I had fun with all the designer papers and the new buttons!!!

Kathy made the Thomas the Train card for our sister in law to give him and She gave the Mickey Mouse card....Oh ya, Kathy knows what this little boy loves!!! 

nathan's birthday!

We had the 2nd birthday party last night!! So much fun! And of course I have the pics of cards to show you..As many of you know Thomas the Train and Cars ..the movie.... were  Nathan's favorites up until my dads birthday when he was introduced to Mickey Mouse!! Of course we had already bought out the stores of any and everything Cars!!! Oh well he might have an old fave back after last night!! I know he loved it all!! One of our good friends made this really cute card for him...I will show you the rest over the next few days!!

Girlfriends birthday!!

My youngest daughter has a birthday to go to tomorrow..It is a girl Hailey dances with and they have so much fun ... She is fun, outgoing and such a nice girl we made her a special card....What do you think??

Piggy for my Mother in law

 My Mother in law....she loves pigs and I have been saving my piggy card for her birthday (in Jan) ....but...she broke her foot and I haven't been able to help her... so... I thought a card was needed!!! I know she will love it! The first pic has a surprise in the barn! The 2nd shows a wee piggy....

I felt it should "feel" chilly for these cards... I do think this set I will borrow over and over again...it is one of those sets that won't go out of style!! Nice pick Kathy!!

Kathy got this set awhile ago and I have to say I didn't really know what she would do with it...So she made this save the date card ...and I had to try it out for myself! I will put mine up tomorrow!!! Very classic card Kathy!!

2 year old Birthday!

We love punch cards! Michelle took it a step farther with this one don't you think?? Love it...This is for Nathan's 2nd birthday!! Coming up in a couple of weeks...Yep that means more cards to come!!!
