OH I love this kinda day... it is sunny with a beautiful breeze...we have a relaxing night ahead of us and I get to do nothing but stitch my heart out!! Life is good! Hope you have a great night!

our parents

So today my parents have been married for 40 years....holy moly ...I don't think many people can say that they want to be just like their parents but I do. They not only were super parents but they have shown me how they are a great couple. I think that is what the secret is...you have to take care of each other and trust that the rest will follow ....I hope I will have the same effect on my girls and their relationships as my parents have had and still have on mine. I want to shop

I want to go shopping....NOW ...you know when you just have to buy something?? I think I want some paper...weird right...but I always get inspired to make thing when I find some cool papers...and really it is the better of the 2 evils...the other would be clothing...yep way nicer of a bill for my dear husband.!! See this is me and all my goodies I bought from the craft store! I look happy right!

I love love love Sarah Kay stamps...I haven't used this one for a while and thought I would get some of my lonely sets out and start to use them... so glad I did! The girls have had friends over after school most of this week so we are slowly getting things ready for the garage sale...(at Michelle's) it is hard to let go of their kid toys but it is better to pass them on to those who need them! So I happen to have a soft spot for most things Japanese .... and so Michelle was right on the mark with this card she made me for my Birthday! Cool right!! Loving the look on this fat cats face!! Hummmm looks like he caught that little mouse and wrapped him up as a little present for himself!!!! So proud of himself isn't he?? It is summer here finally and we have the pool up and running...the girls swam in it yesterday... a cool 74 degrees yikes... I am hopping for warmer water today! Hope you get to go outside and enjoy the weather....I know I am going to!!

It has been a crazy start to my month of July...you know one of those months that in time ...maybe a long time...I will look back and laugh about! However it is going to be a good card making month...we have new colors and lots of new stamps to show off!! awesome papers...

Have you noticed the totally awesome papers the last ouple of days??? OH YA I got them and I can't get enough of them....I have almost used up my stash so I will have to go to the store..."sigh"...it is a tough life....but someone has to do it...Heres an update on the family....My girlsare still competing in dance but thankfully classes are over....( we have a bit of time for ourselves) they are of course still in school ( this is the hardest month ). Michelle came back a few days ago ...thankfully .. I hate it when she is gone...However the family is a beautiful golden brown and they keep standing near us whiteys and that is so sad ....Kathy is home today! Again Michelle and I are just not the same without her around....ya we are mamas girls....we will see her tonight and after more than 2 weeks there I just know she will want to sit by me...oh ya she will have a great tan!!! Thats it for now!!! Have a great CANADA DAY!!!
