How often do you get something fun in the mail?? So I am going to start to send more cards..It doesn't cost much to do but the impact you can make on someone's day it amazing! We have been on the receiving end of some cards that were mailed to us the last few months and it was an amazing thing to want to go to the mailbox and see if there was a card there!! So I use 12x12 designer papers and the way I do my cards for the most part.. I get 6 cards out of every 12 x12 sheet... in the end if I have done my job I am stuck with 3 pieces of 1 1/2 x 4 bits of paper... I know it would be smart ...especially if you saw my scrap collection to just get rid of these. NOPE not me I have to save them cause one day I will use them..(Hoarder)

( I have started taking Kathy's as well ...I have a problem) ANYWAY... here is a pic of a few of said pieces....

So in a weird round about way I fine myself making a card for my Uncle.. It is not that so much making the card as trying to figure out what besides golf my uncle likes... He is turning 70 and I found it really hard to make his card. I love him very much but... don't really know him at all... I know things about him and but nothing that can be related to card form... does that make sense? Well.. it is the first time I have made him a card... and really I think the first time I have been to his birthday to be truthful... So Golf it is... I have to say Kathy and Michelle will have golf cards as well... I guess we are all in the same boat... Goal for the weekend is to find out just one other thing my Uncle likes !!! Ok this one might be a repost...it was given to the happy couple but brought back to Kathy because she sent it off without writing anything in the card.... OPPS! I can't tell you how many times I have done this....put the card down after you make it and a couple days later stuff it in the envelope and off it goes.. not thinking that it was blank! So what little boy wouldn't love this?? I love these step cards but it is always hard to get them to fit in an envelope... This was just a bit to long but so cute anyway!! He loved it soooo totally worth it! Orange happens to be his fave color for everything so I snuck in a orange dinosaur... he saw it first thing! Thanks for looking! Have a great night!
